Shusha to host landmark discussion on public-private partnerships

Azerbaijan's Ministry of Economy is set to host an event titled "New Opportunities for Entrepreneurs: Reviving Karabakh Together" on June 27-28 in Shusha and Aghdam. This pivotal gathering aims to showcase the burgeoning entrepreneurial prospects in the Karabakh and East Zangazur economic regions.

According to Report, the primary objective of the event, which will welcome over 100 business representatives, is to present investment opportunities and business perspectives to potential entrepreneurs, while also facilitating discussions on public-private partnership models.

As part of the initiative, participants will tour the Aghdam Industrial Park, gaining firsthand insight into the facilities and resident enterprises. They will also witness the ongoing reconstruction and infrastructure development in Shusha and Khankandi, aimed at revitalizing economic activity and ensuring sustainable resettlement.

The Shusha segment of the event will feature panel discussions focusing on incentives and preferences applied in the liberated territories, other state support measures, the role of entrepreneurs in the restoration and economic reintegration of these areas.

Entrepreneurs will be presented with proposed investment projects, export potential of products, and logistical capabilities. The event will also include G2B (Government-to-Business) meetings.
