Iranian president appoints Ali Rabiei as deputy for social affairs

Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian has appointed Ali Rabiei as his deputy for social affairs, Report informs via IRNA.

In his decree issued on Saturday, President Pezeshkian emphasized that Rabiei should be “the voice of the voiceless” to the president.

Rabiei previously served as the spokesman of the Iranian government from 2019 to 2021 and as the Minister of Cooperatives, Labor and Social Welfare from 2013 to 2018. He is also a professor at the University of Tehran.
