Allahshukur Pashazada calls for strengthening global dialogue to address environmental issues

In the globalizing world, new dangerous trends are emerging that cause concern among progressive world community - the distortion of moral and ethical criteria that have been rooted in human consciousness and morality for centuries, and encroachment on religious and cultural values, Chairman of the Caucasus Muslims Board (CMB) Allahshukur Pashazada said at the Global Summit of Religious Leaders ahead of COP29 in Baku, Report informs.

The head of CMB believes that the main source of problems threatening humanity's future, including global warming and other climate issues, is the violation of divine order and people's detachment from moral roots.

"To eliminate these vices, it is necessary to observe cultural and moral norms of behavior that have been formed over centuries in all spheres - in politics, economics, and interstate relations," said Pashazada.

He noted that today, in the modern era of growing threats to human life and international stability, it is extremely important to increase joint efforts of political, public, and religious leaders and strengthen global dialogue to address crucial issues related to the environment and climate change.
