About 13,000 tourists visited Shusha for 4-5 days on the eve of the National Salvation Day and the Eid al-Adha, said Aydin Karimov, the special representative of the President of Azerbaijan in Shusha, at the event “New Opportunities for Entrepreneurs: Let's Revive Karabakh Together”, Report informs.
He said that the economic profile of the city of Shusha is more focused on the service and tourism sector: “Since December 27 of 2023, citizens have had the opportunity to visit Shusha by private passenger cars by registering on the yolumuzgarabaga.az portal. At the beginning, 80 passenger cars were allowed to register on the portal, but now there is no limit. As a result, there is a significant increase in the number of tourists coming to Shusha, especially on weekends.”
