Number of active taxpayers up by 3% in Azerbaijan

As of May 1, 2022, the number of active taxpayers increased in Azerbaijan by 3.1% compared to the beginning of the year and reached 685,446, Report informs, citing the State Tax Service under the Ministry of Economy.

The number of active VAT payers increased by 5% during the reporting period and amounted to 36,414. The number of operational facilities (economic entities) increased by 1.4% since the beginning of the year and reached 185,874.
