Sleet forecasted tomorrow in Baku

On December 24, the weather is expected to be occasionally rainy in Baku and Absheron peninsula, intensifying in some places, sleet in the suburbs in the evening, Report informs, citing the National Hydrometeorology Department of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources, that rain is expected at night.

North-west wind will blow during the day. The temperature will be +3-+5 C at night, +5-+7 C in the daytime at in Baku and Absheron peninsula.

Atmospheric pressure will rise from above normal 762 mm Hg to 767 mm Hg, and relative humidity will make 80-90%.

The weather will be rainy in the regions of Azerbaijan, snowy in the mountains and foothills, and intensive in some places. It will be foggy at night and in the morning, west wind will blow and intensify in some areas.

The temperature will be +1- +4 C at night, +4+7 C in the daytime. In the mountains, -4 and -9 C at night, 0 and -4 C in the daytime.

As for the medical and meteorological forecast, on December 24, rainy weather is expected in the Absheron Peninsula against the background of the occasional strong Khazri wind, which may cause concern to meteorologically sensitive people.
