IEA raises its forecast for oil demand growth this year by 380,000 bpd

Global oil demand in 2022 will increase by 2.1 million barrels per day (b/d), to 99.7 million b/d, according to the August report of the International Energy Agency (IEA), Report informs referring to TASS.

Thus, the agency raised the previous estimate of demand growth by 380,000 b/d.

The 2023 forecast for global oil demand growth remained unchanged from the previous estimate at 2.1 million b/d.
