South Korea may mitigate sanctions against DPRK

South Korea may consider easing sanctions against the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) in exchange for suspending its nuclear missile program, South Korean Foreign Minister Chung Eui-Yong said during a speech in parliament today.

"We must take urgent action to stop North Korea from developing its missile and nuclear capabilities," FM noted.

According to him, if the DPRK agrees to a dialogue, mitigating sanctions could be part of such measures.
