World Tourism Film Awards honor 2024 best tourism film 

The international jury that includes also Tarana Maharramova, the travel reporter from Kaspy newspaper (part of the Global Media Holding, Azerbaijan) has announced the Tourism Press Award 2024 earned by Switzerland Tourism’s “The Ride of a Lifetime”, Report informs.

The film, which promotes the Grand Train Tour of Switzerland, takes audiences on a scenic journey alongside the tennis legend Roger Federer and the comedian Trevor Noah.

To receive the CIFFT Tourism Press Award 2024, the production was reviewed by a panel of 84 travel journalists from leading international media outlets across 36 countries.

An initiative of the International Committee of Tourism Film Festivals (CIFFT), the Tourism Press Award recognizes the synergy between tourism and journalism.

“The Ride of a Lifetime” also won the 36th World Tourism Film Awards taking first place in the Tourism Products category.

The World Tourism Film Awards also showcased other video entries from Azerbaijan Airlines, Hamad International Airport, Slovenian Tourist Board, Wroclaw Tourism Organization, etc.
