Azerbaijan studies Italy’s experience in agritourism

To get acquainted with the experience of the European Union in the development of rural areas and agritourism, employees of the Azerbaijani Ministry of Agriculture and subordinate institutions are in Italy, Report informs referring to the Ministry of Agriculture.

The main purpose of the visit is to improve the system of state support for the development of rural areas and agritourism, the creation of cooperatives in this area, as well as to study the experience of the European Union in the field of control and monitoring of the payment of subsidies.

During the visit, for the first time, a meeting was held with employees of the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Forestry Policies of Italy.

Chairman of the Agricultural Credit and Development Agency under the Ministry of Agriculture Seymur Movlayev, in turn, informed the meeting participants in detail about state support for agriculture, the agency’s activities in this direction, and ongoing projects.
