Traditional Food Festival is taking place today, September 4, in Azerbaijan’s Shaki city, as part of the project “Encouraging agritourism, agribusiness and food production through consulting services, creating and developing new value chains,” Report informs.
The project is funded by the EU and implemented by the Center for Economic and Social Development, the Uluchay Social-Economic Innovation Center and the Center for Economic Development of Bulgaria.
The project is one of those implemented by civil society organizations in various regions of Azerbaijan and funded by the EU.
The purpose of the Food Festival is to promote traditional Azerbaijani food among local and foreign guests, informing them about regional food traditions. The festival presents traditional dishes and agricultural products from Shaki, Zagatala, Gabala, Oghuz, Gakh, and Balaken regions. Over 200 guests are attending the festival.
