During the first two months of this year, Azerbaijan imported 150,598 tons of wheat worth $51.953 million, Report informs.
According to the State Statistics Committee, imports increased by 9.2 times in value terms and 6.8 times in quantitative terms compared to the same period last year.
During the reporting period, 81,783 tons worth $27.397 million were imported from Kazakhstan and 68,814 tons worth $24.556 million were imported from Russia.
Compared to January-February 2021, supplies from Kazakhstan increased 34 and 27 times, respectively, from Russia - 5 and 3.6 times.
