Minister: Azerbaijan ready to share experience in agriculture with other countres

As the global agricultural workforce dropped by 17% over the past two decades, the youth involvement in this sphere is of particular importance, Minister of Agriculture Inam Karimov told a round-table discussion as part of the international conference on the transition to digital agriculture.

"Moreover, to step up this process and ensure the essential integration, we need to work with the youth since they have significant advantages in terms of broader digital literacy and the use of innovative solutions. The Azerbaijani government highly appreciates the effective cooperation in agriculture with FAO, AEBA, World Bank, EU, UN Development Program, IFAD, and other influential international organizations. Azerbaijan is a reliable international partner and is ready to share its achievements and experience with other countries," the minister said.
