The national flag is waving in another part of Azerbaijan. The village of Farrukh in the Khojaly district is under the full control of Azerbaijan.
Brief acquaintance with Farrukh village
It is located in the foothills. There is a hill of the same name in the village. There are different opinions about the title of this settlement. It is believed that the village was founded by a man named Farrukh. Lake Farrukh and other objects called Farrukh were also recorded near the village. The Armenians also pronounced the name of this village as "Paruk" because they pronounced the letter "f" in the Azerbaijani language as "p".
It is believed that the Farrukh name dates back to the fire-worship period. It has the meanings of a successful, holy, blessed, enlightened man, wise, courageous, and a man who distinguishes truth from falsehood. The village is located 16 km from Askaran and 32 km from Khankendi.
Since the beginning of the Karabakh events in 1988, Armenian militants and mercenaries brought from Yerevan, Lebanon, and Syria to the village of Farrukh have opened fire on Jinli, Alimadadli, and other nearby villages of Aghdam, killing and wounding civilians. In the first years of the conflict, Armenians repeatedly attacked the Jinli village from Farrukh. During the battle, the village and the nearby Farrukh Heights were of special strategic importance. On January 31, 1992, the battalion led by National Hero Shirin Mirzayev, the local self-defense forces of Aghdam, and the Special Purpose Police Unit (OMON) conducted an operation to liberate the village of Farrukh from Armenian bandits. The village was under the occupation of the Armenian Armed Forces from 1993 to 2020.
In accordance with the tripartite statement signed on November 10, 2020, the village of Farrukh came under the control of the temporarily deployed Russian peacekeeping forces. However, illegal Armenian armed groups again started firing from the posts in Farrukh and violating the ceasefire in the region, as they did 30 years ago. The Azerbaijan Army has launched an operation to clear the area of illegal militants.
Questions of interest to the Azerbaijani public
In the meantime, several questions arise: how can Armenians create or maintain an unlawful armed group in the area where Russian peacekeepers are temporarily stationed? Why did the Russian military turn a blind eye to the emergence of illegal armed groups in the territory they still control? Why the part of Article 4 of the known statement "The peacekeeping contingent of the Russian Federation is deployed in parallel with the withdrawal of the Armenian armed forces" is not observed? Why are there still Armenian armed forces in the region?
Both in the statement and the declaration of alliance between the two countries, Russia has appropriate obligations. Therefore, these questions surfaced because Russia has not fulfilled its obligations to Azerbaijan.
However, the events give grounds to say that Russia is accustomed to violating international law and bilateral agreements on such issues.
From this point of view, it is unambiguous that Russia is responsible for such behavior of Armenia and Armenian separatists after the act of capitulation. Because the events proved that the separatists in the region were supported and defended by Russia, this is confirmed by the fact that Russian millionaires of Armenian origin help illegal armed groups. The good relations between the leaders of the Russian peacekeepers and the leader of the separatists and illegal armed groups Arayik Harutyunyan are also an indication of Moscow's support for these forces.
Russian peacekeepers are misleading the international community
Another controversial issue. Between which parties do Russian peacekeepers monitor the ceasefire? Who will open fire if Armenian militants and illegal armed groups are not in the region according to the statement? This means that Russian peacekeepers need to break the so-called "ceasefire" in order to stay in the region for a longer period of time. These illegal gangs open fire, and the Russian military presents itself as a fair mediator. Thus, the international community is deceived.
The work to clarify the positions and locations in the village of Farrukh has written a new page in the military history of Azerbaijan called "Farrukh victory."
The liberation of the Farrukh village once again showed that Azerbaijan is determined to restore its territorial integrity. It is not accidental that the operation in the village is being carried out these days. It is one of the indicators of the measures taken by the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev. He proves that he has fulfilled his promise to the citizens of Azerbaijan to ensure territorial integrity.
Armenians are opportunists, liars, and unreliable
From time to time, the bitter consequences of the atrocities committed by Armenians in Azerbaijan and the South Caucasus, based on the fabrications and dreams of their patrons and ideologues, disappear. During the 44-day war, Azerbaijan showed their places to Armenians and their supporters. Recent operations have once again proved that the Farrukh village belongs to Azerbaijan as other territories.
Armenians are opportunists, liars, and unreliable. Their patrons and supporters are well aware of their ethnic nature. Therefore, this ethnic group is used to create unrest, disobey obligations, violate activities, and do other hideous acts. They take advantage of the fictitious Armenian tragedies and history against the states they hate. The information and distortions spread by the Russian Defense Ministry about the Farrukh victory confirm this. The fact that the Russian Defense Ministry presents the village's name as "Furukh" clarifies many points.
