From January through February this year, Georgia’s trade with Azerbaijan amounted to $166.992 million, according to the National Statistics Office of Georgia, the Georgian bureau of Report informs.
In line with the document, last month, Azerbaijan, with a share of 10.1 percent in Georgia’s total trade turnover, ranked fourth among the trade partners of the neighboring country after Turkey, Russia and China.
The value of Georgia’s exports to Azerbaijan over the past year decreased by 29 percent, to $66.374 million, and imports from Azerbaijan dropped 25.3 percent, to $100.618 million.
Azerbaijan ranks second among the main export partners of Georgia, with a 13.4 percent share in the country’s total exports. Azerbaijan has a share of 8.7 percent in total imports of Georgia and ranks fourth after Turkey, China and Russia.
