The Azerbaijani Economy Ministry and the Kazakh Trade Ministry have signed an interministerial memorandum on trade cooperation, Kazakh Minister of Trade and Integration Bakhyt Sultanov, who is visiting Azerbaijan, wrote on his Facebook page, Report informs.
The memorandum was signed during the meeting of Sultanov with Azerbaijani Economy Minister Mikayil Jabbarov.
“It will contribute to strengthening bilateral trade on a mutually beneficial and fair basis. We will cooperate in a wide range of issues with an emphasis on identifying barriers to trade and finding solutions to eliminate them,” the Kazakh minister said.
Sultanov added that Kazakhstan is ready soon to increase the supply of metallurgical and petrochemical industries in demand by the Azerbaijani economy, as well as food products.
“Azerbaijan shows interest in our construction industry products, and we, among other things, are interested in their food industry and petrochemistry,” he noted.
