Azerbaijani universities may join international educational network

Azerbaijani universities have been proposed to join the international education network, GEANT CEO Eric Huizer told the opening ceremony of the 5th Eastern Partnership E-infrastructures Conference (EaPEC 2022) held in Baku.

Report informs that, according to him, by joining the Eduroam project, universities can identify themselves:

"This also opens wide opportunities in terms of scientific and educational development of Azerbaijan."

Huizer stated that he is ready to provide the necessary assistance in expanding Azerbaijan's cooperative relations with the countries of the Eastern Partnership, ensuring the more effective use of European resources and services in the field of science and education by our scientists and researchers.

He pointed out that special experts from the participating countries will listen to reports on various topics within the framework of the conference and exchange experiences and opinions on important issues with colleagues.
