AZPROMO: Azerbaijan, Vietnam planning to establish business council

Discussions are currently underway to establish the Azerbaijan-Vietnam Business Council, adviser to the executive director of the Azerbaijan Export and Investment Promotion Agency (AZPROMO) Shabnam Allahverdiyeva told a meeting with Azerbaijani and Vietnamese entrepreneurs, Report informs.

The AZPROMO official noted that interest of entrepreneurs in both countries will be assessed via surveys: “This cooperation will open new opportunities for mutual development and progress. As of June 1, five Vietnamese companies were registered in Azerbaijan.”

According to Allahverdiyeva, negotiations are also ongoing on the agreement about the promotion and mutual protection of investments.
