OECD takes Azerbaijan's experience of economic reform as role model

Management of economic reforms in Azerbaijan has been entirely digitized, Vusal Gasimli, executive director of the Center for Economic Reforms Analysis and Communication, said at a press conference at the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) on the adoption of Azerbaijan's "Economic Reform Management Model" as an exemplary innovative practice, Report informs.

"This is the first case in the history of the OECD. Presentation of Azerbaijan's "Economic Reform Management Model" creates opportunities for businesspeople of member countries to invest in Azerbaijan. I hope that this role model of Azerbaijan will be studied in more detail. The Uzbek delegation also visited Azerbaijan recently and they wanted to learn Azerbaijan's reform model. The mention of this model of Azerbaijan as an example on the OECD platform will further increase the prestige of our country," he noted.
