Foreign direct investments in the Georgian economy doubled to $1,152.8 million in 2021, Report informs, citing the National Statistics Office.
The top five investors include Great Britain ($596.6 million), the Netherlands ($125.9 million), the Czech Republic ($81.8 million), Turkiye ($64.7 million) and Russia ($58.6 million).
The investments were mainly made in finance, entertainment and recreation, energetics, production, real estate, health and social services, construction, agriculture and fishery, hotels and restaurants, and transport.
