Qatar imports over 400 tons of fruits, vegetables via Azerbaijan Trade House

More than 400 tons of fruits and vegetables produced in Azerbaijan were imported to Qatar through the Azerbaijan Trade House operating in Doha in the last four months, Chairman of the Management Board of the Small and Medium Business Development Agency (KOBIA) Orkhan Mammadov said, Report informs.

Mammadov made the statement at the event titled "Qatar for the whole world" organized by Azerbaijan Trade Corporation in Baku on July 25.

According to him, the Trade House is a dynamic platform for developing mutually beneficial cooperation and investments between Azerbaijan and Qatar.

"It plays a key role for Azerbaijani businessmen to demonstrate their products and services, and for Qatari entrepreneurs to explore opportunities in Azerbaijan. Thanks to the Azerbaijan Trade House, we aim to expand trade relations, attract investments, and create a favorable environment for future cooperation."

On October 31, 2022, the Azerbaijan Trade House, later named Azerbaijan Trade Corporation, was opened with the participation of the Minister of Economy of Azerbaijan Mikayil Jabbarov, and Orkhan Mammadov.
