Uzbekistan agrees on cooperation with Azerbaijan's Pasha Development

Agreements for a total amount of $26.6 billion have been signed as part of the 3rd Tashkent International Investment Forum, Report informs citing the Ministry of Investment, Industry and Trade of Uzbekistan.

"For comparison, 167 documents worth $11 billion were signed at TMIF in 2022. During the forum, agreements were reached with a number of the world’s largest companies, including Orascom Investment (Egypt), Bonafarm Grup (Hungary), Sayar (USA), Goldwind, Sinoma (China), Sam Yapi (Türkiye), Pasha Development (Azerbaijan), Lasselsberger (Austria), Petrosat Chexelsoton (Iran) on the implementation of new investment projects worth $6.6 billion," the ministry notes.

In addition, according to the ministry, within the framework of the forum, agreements were reached on the construction of a wind power plant with a capacity of 5 GW in Karakalpakstan and the creation of electricity storage devices with a capacity of 2 GW for a total amount of $6.2 billion with Acwa Power and on the construction of a wind farm with a capacity of 1000 MW in the amount of $1.1 billion with UAE's Amea Power.

Pasha Development operates in the acquisition, management and development of real estate through its subsidiaries and joint ventures. The company is a subsidiary of Pasha Holding LLC.
