10 Turkish banks commit not to finance coal projects

Ten banks in Türkiye have committed not to finance coal projects.

Report informs Turkish Haber Global TV that the banks made the decision at COP29 held in Baku.

While 12 out of 17 banks operating in Türkiye are moving towards the net zero target, 10 of them have committed not to finance new coal projects.
