Declaration on Green Digital Action to be adopted within COP29 framework

The Green Digital Action COP29 Declaration will be adopted within the framework of COP29, Report informs.

According to the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport of Azerbaijan, the declaration will be implemented by governments, international organizations, financial institutions, charitable organizations, private sector and non-governmental organizations, and academic circles.

By adopting the declaration, parties will express their intention to recognize the role of digital technologies in reducing the impacts of climate change and achieving upcoming goals, and to support the targets of the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC), the Paris Agreement, and the objectives set for 2030.
