Azerbaijan and Israel have rich experience of cooperation in various fields, including education and security, Director General of Israel's Ministry of Regional Cooperation, Gilad Shadmon, told Report.
He expressed gratitude for organizing COP29 at such a high level.
"Our countries have been cooperating for many years in security, education, financial and banking sectors, as well as in climate change issues, and I am confident that this cooperation will soon bear fruit," he said.
According to Shadmon, Azerbaijani and Israeli peoples have similar character traits, which contributes to establishing warmer and closer relations between them.
The Director General also touched upon the Memorandum on cooperation in education: "Today we are going to sign a document on an educational program that we plan to implement together. The document provides for meetings between teachers from Azerbaijan and Israel to study how to convey climate challenges to students. Teachers from both countries will use the same methodology for teaching children. This will allow joint implementation of various projects."
