Haber Global: Text of COP29 financing agreement being drafted

The financing agreement text is being prepared at COP29, Turkish Haber Global TV said in a program about the climate conference held in Baku, Report informs.

It was noted that one of the main topics of COP29 today is related to climate financing:

"The issue of adaptation to climate change is also on the agenda. COP29's Lead Negotiator Yalchin Rafiyev stated that the prepared text will be brief and specific. This will be the main feature distinguishing the COP29 text from previous COP texts."

It was also noted that on the last day of COP29, the main focus will be on preparing the mentioned text:

"Today's agenda includes issues such as transport and tourism. Tomorrow, issues like gender equality, nature, and biodiversity will be discussed. Within the framework of COP29, each country presents its own project regarding those issues."
