Kyrgyzstan will present its national pavilion for the first time at the COP29 climate conference this year to showcase the country's achievements and hold meetings with international partners, reads a message from the Ministry of Natural Resources, Ecology and Technical Supervision of Kyrgyzstan, Report informs.
"Minister of Natural Resources, Ecology and Technical Supervision Meder Mashiev, during a meeting with US Ambassador Lesslie Viguerie, discussed climate change issues and both countries' participation in COP29, which will be held in Baku from November 11 to 22. Minister Mashiev emphasized that this year Kyrgyzstan will present its pavilion at COP29 for the first time, providing an opportunity to more broadly demonstrate the country's achievements and hold meetings with international partners," reads the report.
Both sides expressed mutual readiness to strengthen cooperation and shared their plans and positions within the upcoming event in Baku.
