Mehmet Nuri Ersoy: Türkiye committed to co-op in achieving climate sustainability

Türkiye confirms its commitment to cooperation towards achieving climate sustainability, Turkish Minister of Culture Mehmet Nuri Ersoy said at the ministerial meeting within COP29, Report informs.

"I am confident that under Azerbaijan's leadership, this conference will lead us to address climate change and meet the expectations of the international community. International cooperation is also key to achieving the set goals," he noted.

He emphasized that many cultural and natural sites are becoming increasingly vulnerable to extreme weather conditions.

"These risks highlight the urgent need to protect our common goods for future generations. No country can solve this problem alone. Global coordinated action is needed. The cooperation demonstrated at this meeting is an excellent example of the collective determination needed to address the climate crisis," Ersoy added.
