Minister: Türkiye works on creating separate route via Zangazur road

Türkiye is working closely on creating a separate route via the Zangazur road for freight transportation with Azerbaijan through the Middle Corridor, Turkish Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Abdulkadir Uraloglu stated at the ministerial roundtable on "Sustainable, Digital Middle Corridor and Beyond" organized within the framework of COP29 in Baku, Report informs.

According to Uraloglu, Türkiye is located at the center of transport corridors and plays a key role in effectively utilizing intercontinental corridors.

"We are planning to make investments in this direction and expand our cooperation. While ensuring the interconnection of corridors, we are increasing the number of routes located on them," the minister noted.
