Mukhtar Babayev: COP29 Presidency will continue working to support COP30 Presidency

The COP29 Presidency will continue its work throughout the year, providing support to Brazil's future presidency at COP30, COP29 President, Ecology and Natural Resources Minister of Azerbaijan Mukhtar Babayev said at the final plenary session of COP29 in Baku, Report informs.

"We will recommend that everyone submit their new NDCs by February. We will support Brazil's upcoming presidency and continue to build partnerships between the Rio conventions," he said.

Babayev also expressed gratitude to all participants of the COP29 conference for the trust placed in Azerbaijan on the complex climate issue.

"I also express gratitude for giving us the opportunity to bring you all together. Let's move forward together in solidarity for a green world," he added.
