State Civil Aviation Agency: Zero emission goal is achievable

The goal of achieving zero emissions is ambitious but achievable, Nazim Ziyadov, Deputy Director of the State Civil Aviation Agency under the Azerbaijani Ministry of Digital Development and Transport (DMAA), said during a high-level panel discussion "International Aviation and Climate Change" at COP29, Report informs.

According to Ziyadov, the environmental topic covers various areas: "Therefore, the diversity of the interested parties creates certain difficulties. The main task for everyone is to create a situation where the environment is considered a top priority for everyone in the world. We must advance this process because we know that the zero emissions goal is quite ambitious. But I believe it will be achieved. However, this will be a challenging task for all of us."
