Taleh Kazimov: Sustainable finance field may see many innovations ahead of COP29

Ahead of the 29th session of the Conference of the Parties to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP29), many innovations in the field of sustainable finance are possible in Azerbaijan, the Chairman of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA) Taleh Kazimov said at a press conference, Report informs.

"COP29 will be held in Azerbaijan as a prestigious event. It is a great success for our country to host this event. Issuing green loans and green bonds in this direction in Azerbaijan does not depend only on the CBA. Also, the business must have a demand for green credit so that the bank can take steps in this direction," he noted.
