Azerbaijan gets first prize of Korkut Ata film festival

The first prize at the International Turkic World Film Festival Korkut Ata (Dede Gorgud) was awarded to Azerbaijan, Report informs, quoting a Twitter post by Turkish ambassador to Azerbaijan Cahit Bagci.

Sharaf (Honor) award was presented to Arzu Aliyeva for her contribution to the development of Turkic culture and art.

Arzu Aliyeva thanked the leadership of the festival for the high award.

"I am conveying to you the best wishes from Azerbaijan. The fact that I have been awarded this high award is a great honor for me. I express my deep gratitude to you for this."

The film "We", presented at the festival, is dedicated to the victory in Karabakh.
