Russian President's Special Representative for International Cultural Cooperation Mikhail Shvydkoi discussed the possibilities of enhancing bilateral cooperation with Azerbaijani Minister of Culture Anar Karimov.
As Report informs, in an interview with journalists, Mikhail Shvydkoi said that during the talks in Baku today, the possibilities of intensifying contacts, despite the pandemic, were discussed.
He noted that this is facilitated by events such as the Nizami Ganjavi International Forum, which is taking place in Baku today, dedicated to the 880th anniversary of the birth of this brilliant Azerbaijani thinker and poet.
Shvydkoi also expressed the hope that the Azerbaijani culture minister will be able to visit Russia soon.
"The 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Azerbaijan and Russia will give a new impetus to our cooperation," the Russian president’s special representative said.
