Ministry of Culture develops patnership procedure with NGOs

The Ministry of Culture is preparing a procedure for cooperation with NGOs in the preparation of projects, First Deputy Minister of Culture Elnur Aliyev.

According to him, the process and procedure applied today are about projects within the ministry: "At the same time, our cooperation with NGOs is carried out within the project management. The procedure will be ready shortly. Today, we are trying to get the Ministry of Culture to improve governance. The first stage of management, of course, is internal management. From today, we will shift to project orientation. We want to make our cooperation with all partners, including NGOs, project-oriented. The most significant advantage of this is transparency. Because before making any decision, all the parties involved in the project will be aware of the project. A critical stage of project orientation is the project document. Now each proposal and initiative will be formed on the basis of a project document, and this project document will be discussed with all parties. This will strengthen the overall coordination, as well as create transparency."

"If the corporate world evaluates projects from a financial point of view, our evaluation system is different since we have obligations to society. It is the application and promotion of our cultural values reflected in our documents. The development of projects will be under our annual action plan," the deputy minister said.
