Diaspora Committee addresses Azerbaijanis living in Russia

The State Committee for Work with the Diaspora addressed Azerbaijanis living in Russia.

According to Report, the application reads:

"According to the Decree of the President of the Russian Federation No. 364 dated June 15, 2021, the period of temporary stay of foreign citizens in the Russian Federation has been extended until September 30. In this regard, we recommend our compatriots to apply to the migration department of the territorial body of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia as soon as possible to register their legal status, register migration, or obtain a relevant work patent, extend the expiration of expired documents.

For that, you must submit a reasoned application for an extension of temporary stay in the Russian Federation and an identity document and a migration card (if any) to mark the extension of temporary stay in the Russian Federation.

In case of loss or damage of the migration card, our compatriots must inform about it when applying to the migration department of the territorial body of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia at the place of actual receipt of a duplicate of the migration card.

Notably, according to the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia, about 100 thousand citizens of the Republic of Azerbaijan with an unspecified legal status currently live on the territory of the Russian Federation.
