Azerbaijan to expand opportunities for youth education in prestigious foreign universities

Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev has signed an order ‘On expanding opportunities for Azerbaijani youth to get education in prestigious foreign universities,' Report informs.

The document says that given the challenges of the post-pandemic and new strategic era, as well as national development goals, to promote Azerbaijan in the field of competition and development, high intelligence should become the main source of power in society, and the role of people with an innovative approach should be strengthened in economic activity and management. To this end, the process of educating Azerbaijani youth in demanded areas at the bachelor’s and master’s degrees in leading foreign universities should be continuous.

Within two months, the Cabinet of Ministers must prepare and submit to the president of the country a draft State Program for educating youth in prestigious universities of foreign countries and resolve other issues arising from the order.
