Azerbaijani FM: Work underway to bring perpetrators of Khojaly genocide to justice

For many years, the Azerbaijani state has taken consistent, systematic measures under the leadership of President Ilham Aliyev in order to bring the perpetrators of the Khojaly genocide to justice and restore historical justice, Azerbaijan's Minister of Foreign Affairs Jeyhun Bayramov told journalists, Report informs.

"As a result of all these steps, this year we are marking the Khojaly tragedy in a different environment. It is the first time that sovereignty has been restored in the entire territory, and our tricolor flag is waving in Khojaly," he said.

The minister noted that Azerbaijan continues work in this direction and will definitely continue it in the future. He added that some of those criminals responsible for Khojaly tragedy have already been held to account and brought before court.
