Baghdad Amreyev: Unity of Turkic world strengthened after liberation of Azerbaijani territories

“Thanks to significant achievements, the unity of the Turkic world was strengthened, first of all, after the liberation of the Azerbaijani territories from occupation and the restoration of its sovereignty and territorial integrity,” Secretary-General of the Cooperation Council of Turkic Speaking States Baghdad Amreyev said, Report informs.

"During the 44-day Patriotic War, the Turkic Council, on behalf of all member states, supported the just cause of Azerbaijan by all means, and its victorious outcome became a source of pride for all our states,” Amreyev said in his congratulatory statement.

He stressed that 2020-2021 was a successful year for the Turkic world.

Today marks the 12th anniversary of the Nakhchivan Agreement, which laid the foundation of the Cooperation Council of Turkic-speaking countries, the Day of Cooperation of Turkic-Speaking Countries.
