Baku to host large-scale march, celebratory events on Victory Day

Tomorrow, a large-scale march will be held in Baku on the occasion of the first anniversary of Azerbaijan's great victory in the Great Patriotic War - Victory Day on November 8.

The march will start on November 8 in Azneft square and end in the Military Trophies Park, Report informs.

Preparations for Victory Day in Baku are nearing completion. The streets and avenues of the capital, the balconies of buildings are decorated with flags.

Due to Victory Day, some government agencies will operate in an intensified mode. The goal is to create conditions for the residents of Baku to celebrate safely and comfortably.

Traffic will be restricted for all types of transport on some streets and avenues due to the Victory Day celebrations.

The restriction will be imposed envisaged from 07:00 in the morning until the end of the events held in the capital. Due to the march, the routes of traffic will be changed around the Azneft square, Neftchilar Avenue, Kovkeb Safaraliyeva, Azadlig, Bulbul, Rasul Rza, Yusif Safarov, Istiglaliyyat streets, including White City Boulevard.
