Chinese citizens can now visit Azerbaijan 3 times a year without visa

Chinese citizens can visit Azerbaijan three times in one year without a visa starting from July 20, 2024, until July 20, 2025, Report informs, citing the State Migration Service.

They can now stay in Azerbaijan for up to 30 days per visit.

The visa-free regime will be implemented in accordance with the joint declaration on the establishment of the strategic partnership between Azerbaijan and China adopted on July 3, 2024.

If they stay in the territory of Azerbaijan for more than 15 days, they should be registered at their place of residence following the Migration Code.

Chinese citizens willing to travel to Azerbaijan more than 3 times during the relevant period or stay in the country for more than 30 days can enter the country after obtaining a visa in accordance with the requirements of the legislation.
