Community: List of over 100,000 Western Azerbaijanis drawn up, process ongoing

A list of more than 100,000 West Azerbaijani compatriots has been compiled, and this process is ongoing, Ulviyya Zulfugar, head of the Western Azerbaijan Community press service, told journalists, Report informs.

According to her, the process of registration of West Azerbaijanis continues:

"In connection with the registration process, both local executive bodies provide support, and every day 250-300 people of our Western Azerbaijani compatriots approach our community and take the initiative to register."

She emphasized that even our compatriots whose roots are in the territory of present-day Armenia are being registered:

"In addition to our compatriots who were deported in 1988-1991, some forced to migrate earlier and their heirs were registered."
