Ilham Aliyev approves ban on certain types of activities in tourist, recreational areas

President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has approved amendments to the Law on Tourism prohibiting certain types of activities in tourist and recreational zones of the country, Report informs.

The head of state signed the corresponding order.

According to the document, any activities related to chemical industry, metallurgy, nuclear energy, operation of large industrial enterprises and technological equipment and machinery manufacturing enterprises, as well as waste disposal and processing enterprises, including the installation of facilities and landfills for these purposes, are prohibited in these zones.
