Ilham Aliyev: We have brought the day of former IDPs’ return to their native lands closer

“We have paved the Victory road to Shusha city, and now the construction of the Fuzuli-Shusha main road is underway. The work is underway on the roads Fuzuli-Hadrut, Fuzuli-Jabrayil, Fuzuli-Aghdam, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev said during a meeting with representatives of the public in Fuzuli district, Report informs.

Noting that the foundation of a new road in the Fuzuli-Aghdam direction was laid on October 17, the head of state added: “Citizens can get to Aghdam using the Fuzuli international airport. Fuzuli International Airport is the air gate of Karabakh.”

“In carrying out all this work, we pursued one goal: to return the former IDPs to their native lands as soon as possible. By participating in the groundbreaking ceremonies today, we have brought this day closer to a significant extent,” the president said.
