Minister: Iran is our neighbor, we should not focus only on negative issues

Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov said that attention will be paid to two main points regarding the restoration of the activities of the Azerbaijani embassy in Iran, Report informs.

In his statement to the journalists, the minister said that the main issue is the completion of the investigation related to the incident and the adoption of the final decision.

According to him, the second point is the issue of guaranteeing the security of the embassy during the negotiations between Azerbaijan and Iran if the activity of the embassy is restored: "Because we cannot risk the lives of our people."

"If there are complicated issues, we should talk about it with the Iranian side, and we are talking about it. Iran is our neighbor, we should not focus only on negative issues," he noted.
