Number of families to be relocated to three villages of Aghdam by end of 2024 revealed

By the end of this year, migration to the three villages of the liberated Aghdam district will be ensured, Bashir Hajiyev, the deputy special representative of the President in the liberated territories included in the Karabakh economic region, said at the special session on “Impact of landmines and unexploded ordnance on cultural property” held in Aghdam within the VI World Intercultural World Forum on Intercultural Dialogue, Report informs.

He noted that 292 families will be relocated to Kangarli village, 719 to Khidirli village, and 203 to Sarijali village of Aghdam. Plants and factories are being built to provide employment to the displaced population.

Hajiyev added that infrastructure work is currently underway in Aghdam, which the enemy has turned into a dead zone.
