Shusha elected member of League of Historic Cities

Shusha's accession to the League of Historical Cities (LHC) was announced at the meeting of the General Assembly within the framework of the 18th World Conference of the League held in Andong, South Korea, Report informs, citing the Shusha City State Reserve.

Shusha's election as a member of the league was announced by Shigenori Shibata, general secretary of LHC.

Later, Aydin Karimov, the special representative of the President of Azerbaijan in the Shusha district, informed the participants of the General Assembly about the historical and cultural importance of Shusha, the vandalism committed by Armenians during the occupation, and the improvement and construction work carried out in Shusha.
