Human rights activist: ‘I am absolutely against the construction of the Armenian-American steel plant’

“I am absolutely against the construction of the Armenian-American steel plant on the border between Armenia and Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic of Azerbaijan,” the official volunteer of the International Human Rights Commission (Switzerland) Mohmad Husain from told Report.

According to him: “The presence of hundreds of potentially toxic chemical substances in the environment, generally caused by human activity, is the cause of chemical pollution. These pollutants contaminate water, soil, air, and food:

“We, as 30 CSO representatives, public health experts and environmental activists from different countries, including my country India have signed this petition to have our voices heard in the international community.

We will address this statement to UN Agencies, international environmental protection, and human rights organizations.”

“It's a nice activity to sign a collective statement for humanity, we must realize that it's not all about money. I am absolutely against the construction of an Armenian-American steel plant.”
