Nearly 41,000 education workers have submitted a reference on contraindications to the anti-coronavirus vaccine, Report informs, citing the Ministry of Education.
It was noted that these education workers must also present a contraindication certificate, as indicated in the joint statement of the Ministry of Health, the Mandatory Medical Insurance Agency, and TABIB. Otherwise, they will be considered as those who refused vaccination against any grounds.
"Notably, on August 18, 2021, the Ministry of Education held an online session dedicated to a more speedy organization of the vaccination of education workers in the country. The event involved the heads of the secondary education establishments reporting directly to the ministry, as well as employees responsible for the organization and promotion of vaccination. During the session, the education facilities were instructed to explain to the unvaccinated staff members the importance of this issue and to fulfill the instructions set by the Cabinet of Ministers in a duly manner. We want to note that the issuance of the Contraindication Certificate to people with contraindications to the COVID-19 vaccines registered in Azerbaijan started on August 9. We should bear in mind that vaccination is important for the restoration of traditional education," the ministry noted.
