Azerbaijani president inaugurates orphanage-kindergarten in Shamakhi

On November 1, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva attended the opening of the orphanage-kindergarten No. 7 built in Shamakhi with the support of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation.

The 80-seat preschool facility has a group, games, bedrooms, sports, assembly and music halls, and a medical room, Report says. Necessary conditions have been created for kids to acquire basic knowledge and have fun. Landscaping works have been carried out in the yard of the kindergarten, a playground and talk areas have been installed.

It should be noted that a number of measures have been taken to reconstruct preschool institutions and ensure the comprehensive education of children within the Heydar Aliyev Foundation's "Development of Preschool Education Institutions" program, launched in 2014. In particular, the Heydar Aliyev Foundation has implemented projects related to the construction and repair of kindergartens in regions, as well as in Shamakhi District.
